Afternoon Tea Packages
There are 3 options to select from, each one has a collection of elegant sandwiches in keeping with traditional afternoon tea, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserve. Finally, a selection of sumptuous sweet treats will complete what is a delight for the eyes as well as the palate. Each option also comes with a choice of specialty loose leaf teas to accompany the afternoon tea experience.
Everything is freshly baked using the finest ingredients, and locally sourced produce where possible.
Your package can be delivered complete with the hire our vintage style tableware (if selected). In addition to this we also offer a set-up and clear up service.

Did you know that the water temperature plays a big part in getting the most out of your cup of tea? Getting it wrong could be the difference between liking or loathing a certain tea type!
Instructions for the correct water temperature and guidance on brewing times will be included in your afternoon tea package.
Earl Grey Black Tea

With its wonderful bergamot citrus flavour and beautiful blue cornflowers this is a classic afternoon tea favourite and complements savoury flavours & sweet afternoon tea treats.
Darjeeling 2nd flush Black Tea

Far lighter than most black teas. A delicate fresh & fruity flavour with a hint of sweetness.
Tastes lovely on its own, without milk & sugar.
Ceylon Orange Pekoe Black

Don't let the name deceive you, this does not contain any orange flavouring. This is a classic Sri Lankan whole leaf black tea with a clean, crisp kick which pairs well with creamy and sweet foods, and fresh summer fruits like strawberries.
English Breakfast Black Tea

A favourite amongst tea lovers, and as its name suggest this is a great breakfast tea. But one that had to be on our list especially when cake is on the menu!
Decaf Breakfast Black Tea

Full bodied Ceylon with the same force of flavour as our classic English Breakfast - simply without the caffeine. Decaffeinated at source using the chemical-free CO2 process.
Rich & full bodied.
Assam TGFOP1 2nd Flush
black tea from Assam, India
Full-bodied, robust, with layered tones of malt and honey.
We'd suggest brewing lightly to appreciate its layered honeyed flavours, but a stronger steeping creates a wonderfully dark, almost treacle-toned cup, perfectly matched with milk.
A great pairing with dark chocolate.
Goji Acai Green Tea

A bright, fruity and invigorating loose leaf blend inspired by the "superfood" reputation of goji berries, açaí and sencha green tea, with added rosehip, raspberry and hibiscus flowers to highlight that lovely berry brightness.
The goji berries add a distinctive sweetness with a tart aftertaste. Lovely with sandwiches and savoury tarts.
Cherry Blossom Green Tea

Loose leaf sencha green tea with flavours of sweet, ripe cherries and a sprinkling of pretty pink rose and peony petals.
The cherry notes would match nicely with almond cake or a freshly made macarons.
Sencha Green Tea

Loose leaf sencha green tea, selected for its strength, subtle sweetness and rich, refreshing taste. A good sencha will have all the dewy freshness of a bright spring morning and a slightly savoury smoothness. a little like steamed green mange-tout, generously coated in melted butter.

Peppermint Herbal

A cool, clean and refreshing blend of pure peppermint for a soothing loose leaf herbal infusion.
Pairs well with finger sandwiches, chocolate and it’s a super digestif and completely caffeine-free!
Apple & Elderflower

A richly rustic loose fruit blend with early autumn apples, hedgerow elderflower and a rustle of rose.
Would compliment a fruit filled scone or fruit tart really well.
Chelsea Garden White tea

White peony tea with rosebuds. Chelsea Garden is a light and elegant brew, while the sweet suggestion of rose and flavours of ripe summer fruits add a delightfully characteristic twist.
A good pairing for cucumber sandwiches & other light flavoured foods, or better still drink alone to appreciate the delicate subtle flavours.
